SINGAPURA
September 07-09, 2011
I'm proud to say na first out-of-the-country ko was in Singapore..
Me & my immediate Manager Maám Rhea went there for a 3-day "Business Trip".
designed for Logistics purposes with Parker Hannifin, and para hindi na rin masayang ang pagpunta namin dun, we were scheduled to visit our company's business partners na nasa SG rin ang mga offices like Amiad and Becker. =)
We just maximized our time to stroll around sa gabi lang..

Favorite Quotable Quotes
I love watching movies, listening to a music & sometimes reading books.. Those are my pastime, first is to entertain me, but most of the time, I have an intention to get some lessons to motivate me na hindi nakukuha sa mga academic books na madalas tinuturo sa eskwelahan...
Let me share to all of you some of my favorite quotations.. ^_^
Adult Pi Patel: "I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.."
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Popoy: "She had me at my worst, you had me at my best. Pero binalewala mo lang lahat yun.."
Basha: "Popoy ganun ba talaga ang tingin mo? I just made a choice.."
Popoy: "And you chose to break my heart.."
Carla: "Darling, you know what they say. You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince.."
Anastacia: "I think I've kissed a prince, Mom. I hope he doesn't turn into a frog.."
Princess Merida: "If you had a chance to change your fate, would you?"
(OST) Touch the Sky by: Julie Fowlis
"I will ride, I will fly..
Chase the wind and touch the sky..."
Ogway: "Quit, don't quit? Noodles, don't noodles? You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery, but Today is a gift. That is why it is called the PRESENT.."
Chuck Noland: "We live and we die by time. And we must not commit the sin of losing our track on time.."
Edward Cole: "We live, we die, and the wheels on the bus go round and round.."
Soothsayer: "Your story may not have such a happy beginning, but that doesn't make you who you are. It is the rest of your story, who you choose to be... So who are you, Panda?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Po: "Shen, scars heal.."
Shen: "No they don't. Wounds heal.."
Po: "Oh yeah.. What do scars do? They fade, I guess.."
Shen: "I don't care what scars do!"
Po: "You should, Shen. You got to let go of the stuff from past - because it just doesn't matter! The only thing that matters is what you choose to be now.."
Christopher Gardner: "You got a dream. You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period.."
"Where there is desire
There is gonna be a flame.
Where there is a flame
Someone's bound to get burned
But just because it burns
Doesn't mean you're gonna die
You've gotta get up and try try try.."

"Remember only God can judge ya
Forget the haters cause somebody loves ya
Can't you see it's we who own the night
Can't you see it's we who bout that life
We don't take nothing from nobody
It's my mouth I can say what I want to..."

Baguio-Sagada-Banaue
Instead of a white sand and the cooling breeze of ocean waves, we chose the Mountain Province for our Company's Summer Outing....
May 10, 2012
Meeting place: FAVI Office.
We left Pasig at 11pm, and we were all excited that no one could ever imagined how long could it takes to get to our destination.
May 11, 2012
Itinerary: First-Stop, BAGUIO
We arrived at 5am in Baguio City and just had our breakfast and a short walk there because we need to leave at exactly 6am for our next destination. Even though it was just lasted for an hour, we enjoyed the place and for the FIRST TIME, I experienced the "smoky breath" and I was so amazed! hahaha.
On our way to Sagada, we stopped for a while in Benguet to take some photographs of ourselves at the Highest Highway in the Philippines.. :)
After that, we continued on our journey....
Time check: 11 am.. Whoaah, parang may kakaiba.. SIRA ANG TIYAN KO!!! HELP!!! One of the memorable bloopers habang nasa byahe kami.. My gosh, I was so embarassed coz they were all bullying me & making a funny sounds like "ummmmm-uhh" "ummmmmm-uhh".. XD
I was perspiring profusely.. Hahaha.. Life & death experience for me.. HAHAHA..
Thank God, naka-survive ako!! haha. That was already 1pm when we arrived at Salt & Pepper..

XD |

St. Mary's Episcopal Church Sagada
YOU! Yes you.. haha.
On our way, nadaan namin ang SAGADA CEMETERY..
Medyo maputik at madulas din kasi yung daan, kaya yung iba nagpaiwan nalang.. Mga KJ, hmp. Once in a lifetime experience lang ito, hindi pa sinamantala.. haha. Basta kami, go lang ng go!! =)
As you all can see, we're surrounded by hundreds of coffins. Creepy!!!!! hahaha
Me & Jackie (Lumiang Cave) |
Next, SUMAGUING CAVE..
Inside the cave, wala akong masabi kundi puro "WOW".. If you really like adventures, nakuuu, perfect place..
I'm so happy!! =)
Let's call it a day.. Time to recharge.. =)

The Fence
There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said "you have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one." You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. Make sure you control your temper the next time you are tempted to say something you will regret later.

Hospital Windows
Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.
And every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.
Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone. Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself.
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."
